1st Runner-Up, TIB Idea Contest 2026
Team ShasthoShakti (স্বাস্থ্যশক্তি) placed 1st runner-up in the TIB Idea Contest 2026, organised by Transparency International Bangladesh around renewable energy and youth innovation. Representing the University of Dhaka among 10 finalist teams shortlisted from more than 300 submissions nationwide, the team proposed transforming flood-prone community clinics into hybrid renewable energy-powered emergency healthcare centres. BUET placed champion and Bangladesh Agricultural University placed 2nd runner-up.

Team DU_Featherless_Bipeds won the Cybernauts 2026 Capture the Flag contest organised by the NSU Computer and Engineering Club.

Champion, VisionX 2025 Project Showcasing Track
Team DU_Prometheus won the Project Showcasing track of VisionX 2025 with Sensei, an agentic AI EdTech platform for class 9-10 students. Sensei uses retrieval-augmented generation to deliver a live AI tutor, question generation and evaluation, real-time feedback, and virtual labs with 3D and AR visualisation. More than 200 teams registered for the track and 22 reached the final. VisionX was organised by the University of Dhaka and sponsored by the ICT Division and US-Bangla Airlines.
